About the event
Farming with Friends is hosting this volunteer opportunity event in April which involves rock picking from their 7-acre field on the farm.
The rock picking event will take place between 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27th.
There is a limit of 15 to 20 volunteers that can participate for enjoyable rock picking to collect rocks.
Important: This rock picking event will involve heavy lifting and entail hard objects as well as some walking around. If there are any restrictions, questions, or concerns of which Farming with Friends should be aware, please reach out to tristan@farmingwithfriends.org. Lastly, crucial clothing that is necessary entails mud boots, or any type of boot that may work in a muddy environment, gloves, and possibly a hat.
Note: Wheelbarrows will be provided to use for the rocks.
