What's Happening on the Farm?

Hello Friend, Now that I’ve taken you through our entire mission, I want to explain the details of what we will actually be doing and/or producing on the farm. The picture of the farm above will show you some of our anticipated activities. As you can see, we’ll be managing and/or helping the farm owners manage: 1) an orchard featuring apple, pear, peach, plum, apricot, cherry, and tangerine trees; 2) a wildflower field; 3) a pumpkin patch; 4) horses; 5) chickens; 6) turkeys; and 7) cattle. Additionally, we’re still nailing down a space for a produce garden and a berry patch. Mmm! Tasty! And we intend to sell all of this (mostly via online sale) in our storefront, which is to be constructed next year. 😊 Stay tuned for more information on product sales. This will all take some time to come to fruition, but we intend to launch many of our product sales initiatives in 2024. Spoiler alert…we anticipate having high-quality, farm fresh eggs for sale late-January! 😊 Side note – Our 5-week-old chicks (laying hens) are doing well! They have been transferred from the brooder to their winter home on the farm. They’re loving their new, much more spacious living quarters. 😊 Have a good one, friend!
